JC Decorates: My Christmas Tree!
It is the most wonderful time of the year! I am not going to lie, I decorated early but I was too excited. When I was flatting I didn’t decorate for Christmas as there was no point in buying lots of stuff and then having to lug it about. So this year now I am living with Paul I decided it was time! So these are my Christmas decorations, I want to add that I was on a super bargain hunt for this stuff as Christmas is always so expensive anyway.
As I mentioned in my last beauty post, I have been using the fancy camera to start taking my pictures and practising on my Christmas decorations was the best opportunity. First we have the tree, I really wanted a big tree but as we have a little flat, I found a thin but tall tree which fits pretty perfectly. It was only 15 pounds from Tescoes too – such a bargain. I got all my decorations pretty cheaply too, didn’t spend over 20 pounds so under 40 pounds for a whole Christmas tree I thought was quite the achievement!
I bought a few special Christmas decorations, including a cute robin, a snow man and a reindeer from Primark.
I then picked up a few other little bits and pieces. I won this super cute sign from Debis blog and it has been on the wall for quite awhile! It is my little count down to Christmas, as I don’t have an advent calendar this year this has been my replacement, helping me be a little bit more healthy this December (though the chocolate oranges are still going down a treat).
I then got a few other little bits a pieces, a very glittery rein deer to sit in front of the TV, along with my new apple candle which I got from the Manchester Christmas markets. And some extra festive lights to throw around our London picture wall.
Overall I think the flat is looking pretty snazzy. We won’t be here for Christmas week but I am planning on having a Christmas dinner with some friends before then and doing some Christmas baking needs to happen as soon as possible.
What decorations have you put up this year?
